So this is my honest opinion on all of this;
An Online Community is a great thing, really.
Taking money for it? - Depends on the stuff you get in that community.Livestreams - really? You want MONEY just to dedicate like an hour of your life to your fans?
Pictures - wtf no
Videos - wtf no
live chat - why not use twitter
connect with other fans - first thought; NO THANK YOU, second thought; why not use twitter?
Discounts in the store - there’s only shit in the store anyways
exclusive merchandise - only thing so far to pay for IF the merch is somewhat better than the stuff in the official storealso i am pretty sure there’s very soon gonna be 2 groups of fans (just like in the mcfly fandom when the super city shit came up);
1. The ones in the community
2. The ones who ain’t in the community for whatever reasonAlso only accpting credit cards is bullshit. I bet there are a bunch of fans who WOULD pay to sign up there but can’t because they don’t have credit cards.
Also the videos & pictures & whatever that are ‘so exclusive’ are gonna be up on twitter, tumblr, facebook & youtube anyways …They’re not taking much money for that community but I still think it’s bullshit which means I am not going to sign up for it even though I’d love to. I’m not gonna waste my money on this.
